Fortunately, the monarch can rely on his son; Crown PrinceHaakon (50) represents his father. It remains to be seen whether KingHarald will be fit enough to make a public appearance on February 4th. The Norwegian regent will probably not consider resigning despite renewed illness. He recently made clear comments about a possible abdication.
