Concert planned: Pop star Heino starts in the USA at 85. On May 12, 2024, the pop singer is scheduled to give a Mother's Day concert in New Jersey for the German-speaking community there.
This is not the first concert overseas for folk music icon Heino. In 1994, the folk musician sang at a German festival at the Garden State Arts Center, also in New York. Heino first appeared on stage in the U.S. three decades ago. In November, Heino's beloved wife Hannelore died after a long illness at the age of 81.
