Assaf Hertz married his partner Hadar Kaniel in Petah Tikva. The couple was married by Rabbi Chaim Yosef Ginzburg, Rosh Yeshiva Chabad of Ramat Aviv.
Hertz began his conversion process in July 2022. He starred in his secular incarnation, among others, in series such as "Alifim", "Redhead" and "Neighborhood" The actor won the reality show "Dancing with the Stars" in 2012 and also took part in stage productions such as the Festigal.
