New Democracy takes a bigger than expected lead over the left of Syriza, while the Socialists of Pasok gain strength. If no party manages to form a government, another election will be called within a minimum period of 40 days.

New Democracy won the 2019 elections with a system that distributed 150 seats proportionally and reserved another 50 for the most voted list. In the next elections, scheduled for this summer, the first list will enjoy the prize of the "reinforced proportional" system.
