Posters from the Lille youth section of the PCF directly target the North Renaissance MP Violette Spillebout and the head of the Place publique and PS list, Raphaël Glucksmann. In question, their resolutely pro-Ukraine positions.

The French Communist Party condemned this poster campaign, calling it “inadmissible and insulting” “This is not our way of doing politics,” insisted Igor Zamichi, coordinator of the Young Communists of the North. “It’s not a hate campaign, it’�s a shock campaign,’ he said. ‘We are convinced that if we still want dignified democratic debates, this type of campaign has no place in public affairs’, said Lille Socialist Party leader Jean-Michel Jaures. The Lille Communist Party also denounced this campaign, saying it was “unacceptable” and “disgusting’.
