The Copa Libertadores kicks off this week with River taking on Táchira in San Cristóbal. The winner of the competition will receive a prize of 23 million dollars.

The final will be played in Buenos Aires on November 30. River appears as the main candidate to dismantle the hegemony of the Brazilians, especially Flamengo (2019 and 2022) and Palmeiras (2020 and 2021) The other members of group H are Libertads from Paraguay and Nacional from Montevideo.
