82 children and young people aged six to 16 took part in a folk music seminar in Schlehdorf. Since 2005, the seminar has offered a platform away from traditional individual lessons.
The seminar, organized by the State Association for Homeland Care, not only teaches musical skills, but also a love of music. The motivation and joy of making music were literally palpable when the young musicians combined their talents. The challenge and highlight of the seminar was a joint orchestral piece that was composed by Rainer Gruber and worked out for the instrumentation.
