Crime in the Allgäu: Fewer murders, more break-ins. The majority of drug-related crime (3,476 cases in 2023) can be traced back to the use of cannabis.
The clearance rate improved slightly to 74.0 percent of all reported crimes. The proportion of suspects between the ages of 14 and 21 fell from 62.5 percent to 38.1 percent. There has been a significant decrease in rape and offenses against sexual self-determination. The crime of robbery, on the other hand, increased significantly.
