The body language that takes shape in dance encourages the encounter with 'the other' and welcomes and overcomes barriers and prejudices. A recently published book by Fernando Battista, "Pedagogy of the border" reports the results of a research conducted at the "Edoardo Amaldi" Scientific High School of Tor Bella Monaca.

Five years of classroom workshops, an educational project carried out in collaboration with the NGO Intersos, found positive feedback in the testimonies of the children who participated. Three years after the project, there are those who said: "The project gave me confidence. It helped me to interpret things differently, to want to discover them and not remain in ignorance, to understand and help". The author tells ANSA that in this path everything is facilitated by the use of the body. "The border is a line that divides, which does not belong to anyone but which can be an element to live together", he says. "We are the ones who give it an identity, the possibility of recognizing each other in that place"
