Dani Osvaldo was born in Lanús, Argentina, in 1986. He played for nine clubs in Europe, including Inter Milan, Juventus and Atalanta.

He was kicked out of Boca Juniors for smoking in the locker room. He split from his girlfriend of three years, Dani Stone, on March 13. He is now in a psychiatric hospital, suffering from depression and anxiety. He says: "I am more Italian than all those who criticize me for the way I play"
