Chinese New Year, also called Tet Festival in its Vietnamese form, or Spring Festival, is celebrated in all countries where Chinese diasporas live. It is set on the second new moon after the winter solstice, and therefore falls, according to the Gregorian calendar, between January 21 and February 19.

In 2024, the Chinese New Year is under the sign of the wooden dragon, a symbol of power, prosperity and success. The element in the spotlight, wood, will bring calm and serenity, gentleness and empathy.
