Jean-Marie Borzeix, former director of France Culture between 1984 and 1997 and boss of Télérama between 1999 and 2000, has died at the age of 82. Born in 1941, he began his career as a journalist at Combat in 1968, then at Quotidien de Paris (1974-1975), before becoming literary director at Le Seuil.

He is at the origin of the creation of several famous programs on public broadcasting such as L'Histoire en direct by Patrice Gélinet.
