The body of Mailyss, 18, was found near a tunnel under the A6 motorway near Chilly-Mazarin, 18 km south of the capital. “We found burn marks on the body, which we believe are post-mortem at this stage,” said the prosecution.
The young woman disappeared in Vitry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne) on February 14. An investigation into a disturbing disappearance was opened by the Créteil public prosecutor's office after the victim's mother reported it.
