Defeat for Biden in American Samoa. Jason Palmer, a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, has won the Democratic primary.
Palmer received 51 votes compared to 40 for Biden. Around 45,000 people live on the island territory in the South Pacific - and Biden also lost there in the 2020 primaries. Mike Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York, defeated Biden there in Bloomberg's campaign's only victory. The AP originally calculated four delegates for Palmer and two for Biden, but later changed the number of delegates to three per person.
