Olympic flame will cross the Rhône-Alpine route on June 22, 2024. Saint-Étienne is the only French city that is a member of the UNESCO design cities network.
The former site of the Arms Manufacture now hosts the vast Cité du Design which will see the birth of the year next of the new National Design Gallery. The 13th edition of the International Design Biennale will also be held there in 2025. The city will host the first for French women's team on July 25 against Canada.
