The Government remains firm in its strategy to advance with the applications of Judge Ariel Lijo and Professor Manuel García Mansilla to fill the Supreme Court of Justice. Despite the controversy, the Government will not give in to the other candidate for the Court: "It's both or neither".

The Government was in charge of clarifying since it announced the proposals that of the two candidates, Milei's favorite is Garcia Mansilla. The radicalism bloc in the Senate is key to the Government's attempt to obtain the two-thirds (48 votes) necessary to approve the appointments.
