Stephan Leithner will become co-head of Deutsche Börse on October 1st. He will take over sole leadership of the DAX group at the turn of the year.
Theodor Weimer will leave office on December 31, 2024. Last year, the Frankfurt market operator increased its net revenue by 17 percent to almost 5.1 billion euros compared to the previous year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) also climbed by 17 per cent to just over 2.9 billion euros.
