Diamondback buys Endeavor for 26 billion, big energy is born. The agreement is the latest in a series of agreements that are transforming the American energy industry.

In the last four months Exxon Mobil bought Pioneer Resources for $60 billion, Chevron bought Hess for $53 billion and Occidental Petroleum bought CrownRock for $10.8 billion. The deal is worth $26 billion in stock and cash to Diamondback and $1.5 billion to Endeavour. The company is based in Texas and is one of the largest oil and gas producers in the United States.
