The condition of the district road between Bad Tölz and Königsdorf repeatedly causes criticism. Green Party spokesman Klaus Koch regularly takes issue there.

Recently there have been some complaints from citizens again. Now a conversation took place in the district office with the managing director of the local gravel company, Christoph Maurer. He is happy that “we had any communication at all,” Maurer says, adding that he was surprised to read a newspaper report about a district council meeting last year that no fines had been imposed on the gravel company. The district office confirms that it had filed a complaint about the pollution, but that proceedings were discontinued after the meeting with Maurer was held. The pollution was so severe at times that a speed limit had to be imposed on some trucks to prevent them from going too fast on the road near Wackersberg. The company has never received a fine for polluting the county road, but has paid several fines in the past.
