Fans of Peter Maffay were able to experience their idol up close – at the discounter Netto. The rocker will "volunteer at the cash register" at Heßler Straße 18 in Essen from 9 p.m.

The background to the campaign: From May 29 to September 3, all donations at Netto will go to the singer's foundation. Netto launched the fundraising campaign last year, raising 484,384.60 euros for the singer.
