About 350 people gathered in Madrid on Sunday to denounce police violence. 37% of black residents in Spain claim to have experienced discrimination and episodes of racism in the last five years, according to a report by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. The same report indicates that 52% of those surveyed in Spain say they have been subjected to controls for being black.
