The German Wildlife Foundation expects an occurrence of up to 1.5 million wild boars in Germany. The smell of Maggi should alert walkers and especially dog owners in the Forest. If a dog runs into the undergrowth, it can quickly become a victim of wild boar attack, warns Uwe Zindel, former head of the Wolfhagen Forestry Office.
