The mayor of Cagnes-sur-Mer, west of Nice, wants to know the names of spouses already convicted in his city. Louis Nègre wrote to the public prosecutor of Grasse, Damien Savarzeix, on March 21, before expressing this desire during the last municipal council.
This approach comes a month after the alleged marital murder of a 44-year-old Cagnoise woman. Her partner, indicted and placed in pre-trial detention since the events, was known to the justice services.
