Djihene Abdellilah has developed her own method to fight against violence against women. Inspired by mixed martial arts, it comes down to three words: confidence, realism and… ground.

“I try to deconstruct what we see in certain self-defense classes,” explains this MMA champion. ‘Unless you're trained in combat sports, you can't stop someone with a punch. It only works in movies. And when we know that 80% of violence against woman takes place at home, it is better to learn to control the aggressor,’ she says.
