Dominique Chagnollaud: “LR wants to push the Constitutional Council to rule on the merits”. The right decided to propose a shared initiative referendum to continue this political fight.
The LR proposal wants to establish a condition of duration of residence for regular foreign residents to receive non-contributory social aid and benefits. It wants to limit the basket of care for foreigners by transforming state medical aid in emergency medical aid. It also wants to exclude foreigners in an irregular situation from reductions granted in means-tested transport.
