Donald Trump faces today the deadline to pay a fine of US$457 million, but he refuses. He hopes to be able to extend the payment date until his appeal.

But the prosecutor has already said that she will go for the confiscation of his assets. Trump's debt arises from a civil trial last fall over state allegations that he, his company and top executives grossly inflated his wealth on financial statements, defrauding bankers and insurers who did business with him.
