Dominik Wandinger studied art education in Munich. The Dorfen sculptor now wants to become a teacher.
He is currently completing his legal clerkship at the Anne Frank High School in Erding. “Art teaching is my dream job,” he enthuses about his new career. The way back to the art academy was a “travel through time” for him, says the father of two children, who now lives with his wife in Dorfen.. The exhibition in the Sparkassensaal, where artists from Dorfen presented their works last year on the occasion of the city’s anniversary, was called ‘Art. Dorfen Now’. The works in this exhibition also have a lot to do with my family,’ says the Dorfen native, who completed his sculpture studies at the Munich Art Academy in 2010 with a diploma. ‘You can make a living from it, but of course you can’t make the most of it.’
