Snow is falling in the Pyrénées-Orientales mountains. Up to 80 cm of snow is expected on the heights of Carlit.

Temperatures should remain cool until March 5. Snow will melt and feed the dams in the Carlit massif. The Roussillon and Aude plains are still in dire need of water. The 2023-2024 season already promises to be “very good”, as were the two previous ones, says the director of Font-Romeu Pyrénés 2000.
