Dramatic emergency call in Munich: Dog swallows ball and suffocates. A nine-month-old American Pitbull died while playing.
A woman was injured during rescue attempts. The mother of the family tried to remove the ball from the dog's mouth and was bitten several times by the panicked dog. After initial treatment, she was taken to a Munich clinic. The ball could only be removed when the dog was already lying lifeless on the ground. Unfortunately, all further attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful.
