Drunk driver on the run: speeder (65) causes accidents at over 200 km/h. Police: Driver was to be subjected to a traffic check on the A9 near Bayreuth.
But instead of stopping, the man drove away in his car, sometimes at well over 200 kilometers per hour. During the check it turned out that he didn't have a driver's license and was drunk. The 65-year-old now has to answer for dangerous interference with road traffic, prohibited motor vehicle racing and hit-and-run.
