Due to the renovation of the Loisach outlet: Lake Kochel will be lowered to a minimum level. Construction work costs around 500,000 euros and lasts six weeks, from the beginning of February to the end of March.
Building materials used to renovate the area next to the stone threshold will be brought in by helicopter. A gravel access road from the island will be built between the outlet and the bypass canal next to it. The material for the gravel driveway will be distributed in the Loisch after the construction work.
