It was built by the SPD politician Wolfgang Heine (1861-1944) and his wife Milly (1865-1913) The Heine family lived there for a few months with their sons Walther (born 1890) and Volker (born 1900) in April 1919. In one of the rooms upstairs lived a hairdresser, “a very windy guy from the Rhineland with a waitress from the 'Post'”
