Luxury department store wants to close its only branch in Germany earlier. Galeries Lafayette will close its Berlin location to customers at the end of July, a few months earlier than previously announced.
The business will close on July 31 so that it can be handed over to the owner by end of the year as announced, the company said. The Berlin-Brandenburg trade association regretted the closure. The department store will do everything it can to provide the store's employees with the best possible support throughout the entire process.
