Earthquake in Taiwan: the earthquake causes an impressive landslide. This is the most powerful earthquake to have shaken the island in 25 years.
Tremors were felt as far away as the capital, Taipei. This earthquake triggered tsunami warnings in Taiwan, Japan and the Philippines. Although the alerts have since been lifted, residents of coastal regions have been urged to remain cautious. All the deaths were located in the Hualien region, the epicenter of the earthquake, where this landslide was seen.
