Eduardo Soteras Jalil is an Argentinian photographer of Lebanese descent. He left his job as a public accountant at the age of 23 and taught himself how to use a camera.

Since then he has documented “the interstices of life,” often in the bloodiest conflicts. Part of his work in Ethiopia, a finalist for the Luis Valtueña Prize for Humanitarian Photography, is on display until March 27 at the International Center of Photography and Film in Madrid.
