Félix Ulloa, vice president of El Salvador, is up for re-election with President Nayib Bukele this Sunday. In an interview with RFI he defends his government's model against gangs.

He warns that if it is proven that officials negotiated secretly with gangs, they should be punished. "This country perhaps has the greatest freedom of expression that exists," he says. "If we managed to have a vote above 75%, it would be a historical record in our country"
