Emmanuel Macron went to meet exhibitors at the Paris Book Festival. He was accompanied by the Minister of Culture Rachida Dati.

He is expected in particular at the Quebec Pavilion, guest of honor at the festival. The festival opened Friday and is held until Sunday at the ephemeral Grand Palais. The President of the Republic is expected to meet novelists, poets, designers and essayists of all styles, the Élysée announced. He will be accompanied by his wife, Brigitte Macron, the president of the French National Assembly and the Prime Minister of the Hauts-de-Seine, Nathalie Schneider-Amsterdam. The president will also meet the French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, and the Mayor of Paris, Edouard Balladur.
