Emmanuel Macron will receive agricultural unions next week. The president will keep his promise at the Agricultural Show to “continue to move forward,” assures the government spokesperson.

The government, in an attempt to appease the anger of the profession which exploded in January, has already committed to numerous projects. The protest movement has subsided since the beginning of February but actions are still carried out sporadically and the unions remain demanding. Representatives of three agricultural unions indicated that Gabriel Attal had asked them what measures the President of the Republic could announce at their next meeting.
