The names of the winning companies of the Enterprise Environment Award were revealed this afternoon in Venice. The initiative, also supported by the Stazione Sperimentale Vetro and Assocamere, marked a new record compared to previous editions: 95 projects presented by 92 companies from 17 Italian regions.
The most present category of companies was that of micro-enterprises, with 53 projects. The region with the highest number of participants was Lombardy, 26, followed by Veneto (21), and Piedmont (8). In the 'Best Management for sustainable development' category, Environment Park of Turin won, providing services for the innovation of companies with zero CO2 emissions. In the same category, Flash Battery Srl, of Sant'Ilario d'Enza (Reggio Emilia), came first, producing innovative lithium batteries, using lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) chemistry.
