The municipality of Oberammergau has launched a competition to design Sternplatz with a wooden sculpture. In the future, this competition will be held every 4 to 6 years with changing themes in order to continually enliven the square with new works of art.
The theme for 2024 was “OberammerGau Star Singers’. The submitted models can be viewed in an exhibition in the Kunstraum, Devrientweg 1 between April 13th and 21st.
