A 39-year-old pedestrian died during the night from Friday to Saturday after being hit by a vehicle traveling on the N 104. Traffic was interrupted for two hours, the duration of the intervention which mobilized ten firefighters from three emergency centers.
For this year 2023 alone, 11 of the 31 victims were pedestrians. There were only 7 in 2022. If the number of deaths on the roads of Essonne fell in 2023, 31 victims compared to 41 in 2022, pedestrians have paid a heavy price.
