A 44-year-old man is on trial this week by the Essonne criminal court for having injured his friend with a knife in a fight, in November. The origin of the conflict would be a debt of 100 euros.
The accused was prohibited from appearing in Essonne and from coming into contact with the victim. The verdict is expected this Wednesday, and the trial is expected to last two weeks. The case was originally opened under the charge of attempted murder, but was reclassified as intentional violence with a weapon followed by infirmity.
