EU Declaration for cycling, it is sustainable and convenient - Infrastructure & Cities. EU Council, Commission and European Parliament: the three European institutions join forces to promote the use of cycling in Europe and reduce emissions from transport.
The European Commissioner for Transport, Adina Vălean, together with Karima Delli, President of the Transport Commission of the European Parliament and Georges Gilkinet, Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium, signed the first European Declaration on the bicycle, in Brussels.
