EU states impose sanctions over Navalny's death. Foreign ministers of member states agreed on punitive measures against representatives of the Russian justice system at a meeting in Brussels on Monday.

The EU is imposing sanctions in response to the death of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny in a Russian prison camp. Kremlin critic Boris Nemtsov, who was murdered in 2015, was also killed in a prison camp in February. The opposition leader died during a memorial march for the murdered Russian politician Boris NemTsov.
