An 18-year-old young man was indicted for intentional homicide and imprisoned for the murder of a retired couple in Combres. He confessed to the double murder while in police custody.
He indicated “that he wanted to kill to vent his anger”, according to the prosecutor of the Rep. Eure-et-Loir. It was a neighbor of the retired couple who warned the gendarmes on Wednesday of the presence of two inanimate bodies in the garden of their residence. The arrest of the young man, although turbulent due to his violent behavior, was carried out less than 24 hours after the discovery of the bodies. He was until then unknown to the judicial services. The blows – multiple and significant – carried with the knife but also the kicks, particularly to the faces, corresponded to the medico-legal findings made during the autopsies,” according to a source in the Chartres prosecutor’s office. The young man is currently being held in custody.
