Two retirees were stabbed to death in Eure-et-Loir by a neighbor seized with inexplicable rage following an altercation with his father. This Saturday, this 18-year-old young person was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention.

The investigation will notably have to shed light on the psychology of the accused, hitherto unknown to the justice system. The two victims, living in Saint-Cloud but having a second home in Combres, “presented a swollen and sunken face” as well as numerous wounds caused by a stab weapon, particularly on the neck. The garden gate was open when the police arrived and the man appeared to be mowing his lawn at the time of the death. The autopsy also attested that he had kicked numerous times, particularly to the faces of the two retirees. The young man “quickly admitted to being the author of this double intentional homicide”, continues prosecutor Frédéric Chevallier. He explained that he was “very angry” to the point of attacking his neighbors when passing in front of their house.
