Knesset's Economic Committee will discuss this Tuesday the bill of Knesset members Osher Shekalim, Ofir Katz and Boaz Bismuth. The bill aims to include pictures of the harms of smoking on cigarette boxes sold in Israel.
According to the World Health Organization, about 130 countries in the world already require video warnings in addition to verbal warnings. The Cancer Society stated: "We welcome the discussion of the bill that is vital to the continuation of the fight against smoking in Israel"
