European elections 2024: Concern about election poster chaos increases – Geretsried continues to rely on fines. European elections on June 9th.
Some municipalities are worried about illegal posters in the run-up to the European elections at the beginning of June. The Free Voters' amendment proposal has not yet been dealt with by the city council. The city has central poster stands to reduce the flood of additional poster displays. In the event of an administrative offense, the city of Raach can impose a corresponding fine – a maximum of 1,000 euros.
