Out of 23 members of the French pro-Macron delegation, 20 are candidates for succession. The rest are not considered a priority.
The list is being drawn up in advance of the June 9 election. The winner will be chosen by a vote of the party members, not by a secret ballot. The result will be announced on June 14. The final result will not be known until after the vote on June 17. The results will be published in full on June 18. The vote will be held on the same day as the general election.
