Ex-police officer convicted of accidentally shooting his colleague to death. The 39-year-old man was responsible for the entry and exit of equipment from the armory of the Saint-Denis police station.

He was found guilty of the involuntary homicide of his colleague Alice Varetz and the endangerment of other officials by reckless handling of weapons. The bullet entered the young woman's left cheek and exited the other side of her head. After three weeks in a coma, she died on April 10.
